Replacement Batteries

Motorola Products

Motorola produces different types of radios for different users and applications as well as batteries, accessories, and specialized products such as the Canopy wireless Internet system. Motorola is best known for 2-way radios with the FRS and GMRS models primarily marketed under the TalkAbout and Spirit names are for personal consumer use. We do not offer these radios since our focus is generally restricted to serving the needs of corporate, institutional, and governmental users. The Radius family of products is probably the best known of Motorola's communications products. These are reasonably priced radios capable of meeting a variety of requirements and suitable for the majority of applications. Prices tend to be very competitive since these products can be offered for nationwide distribution by a large number of competing dealers. Falcon Direct is one of a select few who has earned entry into the exclusive Motorola Pinnacle Club. In simple terms, we sell in high volume. This allows us to buy at the maximum discounts and we pass these savings on to you. In addition, we make a financial contribution to your affiliated association for every radio and accessory purchased from Falcon Direct. We do not recommend every Radius model, only those that we have chosen to meet the specific needs of those we serve.

Professional grade radios are generally the favored choice for industrial and public safety users who vitally depend on reliable communications. Prices will tend to be a little higher than Radius models but this is generally offset by advanced user features. Motorola dealers are contractually restricted to selling within a specified territory or to customers who have chosen to deal with a particular dealer regardless of location. The reason for this is to assure the best post sale service possible and to reduce some of the fraudulent practices common to direct mail and Internet marketing. As in the case of Radius radios, we do not offer every professional grade model. Instead, we have chosen the one product family that allows our customers to use common replacement batteries, chargers, and audio accessories. Motorola Pagers

There are three basic types of pagers (i.e. one way alerting message devices). The most popular with the customers we serve is a selective call receiver with voice message capability known as a Minitor V. These pagers are ideally suited for any application requiring instant message delivery to single users or simultaneous delivery to large numbers of people. Fire and rescue users as well as Code Blue hospital emergency teams have made the Minitor IV their pager of choice. Churches prefer a pager that silently alerts parents or staff in the event of need during services. The pager that best serves this application is known as a alert only type (i.e. it simply beeps or vibrates when called). These are known as digital pagers. If desired, these pagers can display a numeric message (phone number, extension, code, etc.). Industrial plants, nursing homes, and hospital administration users often prefer a pager capable of conveying a text message. These are known as alphanumeric, text, or message display pagers. Falcon Direct offers them all.

Special Products

In addition to essential communications products, we offer special products such as the Stone Mountain replacement speaker microphones. Top tier communications users operating radios such as the HT1000 and XTS series as well as M/A-Com users of the LPE and MRK series will be delighted with the performance and lower operating costs of the Juno and Sword microphones.
